Canine Behaviorist (K9B)

As a canine behaviorist, I specialize in offering effective behavior modification services for dogs, helping them overcome challenges like reactivity, fear, aggression, and other behavioral issues. Through customized training plans that focus on positive reinforcement, threshold work, and structured leadership, I work with dogs and their owners to address the root causes of unwanted behaviors. My goal is to build a balanced, trusting relationship between you and your dog, empowering both of you with the tools and confidence to create lasting, positive changes.

Tailored Training Programs

Designed to fit the unique needs and personality of your dog. Ensuring that each session addresses specific behaviors and goals. Tailored to meet you and your dog's specific needs and goals.

PRIVATE TRAINING: Training in the privacy of your own home.

1. Behavioral Consultations:

Assessing and addressing specific behavior issues such as aggression, anxiety, fear, or compulsive behaviors.

2. Training Programs:

Designed and implementing personalized training plans to modify behavior and teach obedience commands.

3. Puppy Socialization:

Providing guidance on socializing puppies to prevent future behaviors problems.

4. Reactive Dog Management:

Helping owners manage and modify behaviors in dogs that react negatively to stimuli such as other dogs, people, or environment.

5. Separation Anxiety Management:

Assisting owners in managing and reducing separation anxiety in dogs when left alone.

6. Fear and Phobia Management:

Developing strategies to help dogs overcome fears and Phobias, such as thunderstorms or fireworks.

7. Resource Guarding Interventions:

Addressing and modifying behaviors related to guarding food, toys, or other resources.

8. Canine Communication:

Educating owners on understanding canine body language and communication signals.

9. Household Harmony:

Providing guidance on creating a harmonious environment for multi-dog households or introducing a new dog to the family.

Educating owners on preventing behavior problems through proper management, Socialization, and Training techniques.

BOARD AND TRAIN: Intensive & personalized training for your dog.

Basic Obedience Board and Train:

1. Basic Obedience Board & Train:

Duration 2 weeks.
Includes: Sit, Stay, Come, Down, Loose leash walking.
Regular progress updates to the owner.
Includes 2 home training sessions.

2. Behavior Modification Board & Train:

Duration: 3-6 weeks (Depending on the severity of the behavior)
Tailored program to address specific issues such as aggression, anxiety, fear, or compulsive behaviors.
1 hour session per week to ensure successful integration of learned behaviors at home.
Includes 3 Follow-up sessions to prevent relapse. (Within 6 months of Training)

3. Puppy Foundation Board & Train:

Duration 3 weeks:
Socialization with people, other dogs, and new environments.
Basic Obedience training (Sit, Stay, Come, Leash manners)
Introduction to Crate training and Potty training.
Problem pervention strategies (Chewing, jumping, etc.)
Guidance on puppy development and management.
Includes 2 home training sessions.

BOARD AND TRAIN:

Advanced Training Board and Train.

1. Advanced Training Board & Train:

Duration 4 weeks or longer (Customizable)
Builds upon basic obedience skills with advanced commands such as Heel, Place, Leave it, and more.
Off leash obedience Training.
Distraction Training (Working around other dogs, people, and various environments.
Specialized training based on owners goals. (e.g., Therapy dog certification, Competition Obedience)
Includes 3 home training sessions.

2. Service Dog Training:

Each option includes:

Daily exercise and mental stimulation
Regular updates on progress.
Transition sessions with the owners to transfer learned behaviors.
Follow-up support and guidance after the program to ensure continued success.

All Dogs must have a Vet check-up within one month prior to pick up and be up to date with vaccinations including the signed release provided by Daige's Dogs stating that "Andrew Daige" owner of Daige's Dogs has permission to discuss yours dog's health and treatment prior to pick up and for the duration of the stay.
